Intoxicating

Go give the bartender your order,
I'll find us a table for two.
I dont' need whiskey or wine in my glass,
I'll just have a bottle of you.

'Cause you're so intoxicating,
I don't know my up from my down.
You're so intoxicating,
That I can't keep my feet on the ground.

My head's floating high up above me.
The room seems to be in a spin.
Whenever you're near me I simply can't tell
Just where earth stops and heaven begins.

'Cause you're so intoxicating,
I don't know my up from my down.
You're so intoxicating,
That I can't keep my feet on the ground.

Someday soon I'll have to come down,
And hope that the landing is soft.
For now I'm enjoying this merry-go-round,
I'm not ready yet to jump off.

I've never been one to get giggly.
Or lose all my rational throught.
But when you smile so sweetly at me,
I'm jelly all tied up in knots.

'Cause you're so intoxicating,
I don't know my up from my down.
You're so intoxicating,
That I can't keep my feet on the ground.
